THE HIGH RELIZATIONS |
This multiusage infrared module is a board
on which I group two infrarer sensors (HSDL-1001 et SFH5110-36)
and a emitter diode SFH-405 . The table below is the symary of the
usage I have done with each of these elements:

|
#The SFH5110 diode did not allow us to decode
infrared signal from the HP . However, the IrDA module HSDL-1001
can do the trick and moreover get infrared signa from remotes and
any IrDA signal 1.0 at 115kb (from Handle PC or PDA) . To avoid
conficts, I have put this module on a support. Tthis allows to remove
it and to let the SFH5110 receive the remote control signal. There
is a great module for decoding remote control frames
the UIR module of Tie Bos (genious!), see the usage I made with
it..

On the picture,
I have removed the Irda module (on
the right) . The diode SFH5110 on the top left corner of
the board will assume the task to receive from remotes.
The violet diode is our emitter diode. It
is generaly this one you will found inside a remote TV as
this diode is particulary cheap.

I don't use the emitter diode of the irda
module but you can use it if you wish. You will only need to add
a 9.1 ohm resistor between 5V and the Anode pin of the IrDA module..

What can I do with this?
Nothing without an microcontroller as it is only an interface
- there is no intelligency here..
I only converts infrared signals (and back) for being decoded
or encoded by our microcontroler (see PICSYS). I give the
the links and pin attributions to do it (pin number in brackets).
Thanks to this interface , I can dial with extern systems
(hp , tv, phone, agenda,...) by infrared..

Chief , chief we are under attack
!!Damned ! they spread on us infrared frames.
Ok, great, but how to establish
the dialog with outsiders?
To answer this question, nothing
worth a summary on the serial asynchronous protocol.
No panick, no fear! I will show you this
with games.

I would like to thanks Seb for the nice pictures
He made on this page with his digital camera..
